How do you install the Replyz skill in Hermes?

Hermes skills live in ~/.hermes/skills/ and use the agentskills.io SKILL.md format. Install the Replyz skill from its URL:

hermes skills install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/replyz/skill/main/SKILL.md

Then ask Hermes to get an inbox. The skill runs the Replyz CLI:

How does Hermes authenticate to Replyz?

Put the key in ~/.hermes/.env as REPLYZ_API_KEY. The CLI reads it from the environment, so it stays out of the conversation. After sign-up, Hermes sends you a claim link: one click ties the account to you and lifts the sandbox limits.

Can you use Replyz with Hermes through MCP?

Yes. Add the server to ~/.hermes/config.yaml and run /reload-mcp:

What can you ask Hermes to do?

What about the Hermes email gateway?

Hermes can also talk to you over email through its email gateway, which connects over IMAP and SMTP. Replyz doesn't offer IMAP and SMTP yet; it is planned after launch. Until then, use the skill, the CLI or MCP.

Can Hermes Agent have its own email address?

Yes. With the Replyz skill, Hermes creates its own inbox in about a minute, with an address like name@youreplyz.com, and receives email there instead of in your account.

How do I install the Replyz skill in Hermes?

Only with your approval. It can email you and reply in threads someone started with it. Bulk, marketing and cold email are not allowed.
